On any given day, 29 percent of babies under the age of 1 are watching TV and videos for an average of 90 minutes. Studies show that preschoolers spend as much as 4.1 – 4.6 hours per day using screen media. (Tablets, e-readers, smartphones, computers and televisions) When used intentionally and appropriately, technology and interactive media are effective tools to support learning and development.
