How do you contact the Inclusion Services Division with the ELCOC?

For Families:

When contacting the Inclusion Services Division, be prepared to discuss your concerns or needs. We will ask you for your contact information - what form of communication (call, text, email, or in-person) and what time works best for you. We will confirm that you live in Orange County by asking for your zip code.

For Childcare Providers:

If you have a concern about a student in your center, please reach out to the Inclusion Services Division at inclusionservices@elcoc.org.

The Inclusion Services Division will reach out to the family to request consent prior to screening the child. We will never move forward without a family's consent.

For Child care providers seeking Special needs funding (snf)

Special Needs Funding is extra funds awarded to a provider who has a child(ren) enrolled in their center who has extra needs and meets certain criteria.

To begin the SNF process you must meet certain criteria.

  1. The student must be enrolled in your center.
  2. The student must be receiving School Readiness (SR) funding.
  3. The student must have a therapy plan in place (IEP, IFSP, Speech, OT, PT, ABA, Mental Health Counseling, etc.).

Once you meet these above-mentioned criteria, then you can contact the Inclusion Services Division. An Inclusion Specialist will send you an application and walk you through the process. Once you complete the application and return it to the Inclusion Specialist working with you, they will schedule a time to complete a brief observation of the child in the classroom and how your staff works with them.
