Training and Support
for Early Childhood Educators

In alignment with the Division of Early Learning’s (DEL) service delivery model, the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County (ELCOC) will be providing direct services to families and childcare providers previously handled by Community Coordinated Care for Children, Inc. (4C).

Take Your Center to the Next Level
with Business Institute

ELCOC’s Business Institute for Early Learning Entrepreneurs provides directors and owners with training in essential business practices that will help their centers to grow and prosper.

Working with faculty members who are also community business professionals, participants build their financial and operational knowledge of skills such as credit, revenue forecasting, budgeting for the future, and competitive marketing.

Mentored by both a SCORE Orlando business mentor and an early childhood business mentor, participants then use these skills to create a comprehensive business plan to support their business goals and success now and in the future.

Inclusion Services: Supporting Children with Special Needs in Early Learning

A preschool student has been doing an activity on a small, personal dry-erase board. She wipes her dry-erase board clean with a cloth.

ELCOC centers welcome all children, including those with special needs.

Our Inclusion Specialists promote and support access to early learning opportunities for all children, including those with disabilities and special health care needs.

Inclusion Specialists work with both families and providers to ensure children receive the care and support they need:

  • assistance for child care centers and family child care homes with issues such as health, development, disability, and special needs
  • techniques and strategies to help children thrive and grow in their early learning years
  • connections to additional resources for parents and providers
  • ongoing training on inclusion opportunities for all Orange County child care and early learning educators
